Termite Protection
The coming of spring is always a season to look forward to. In some cases, though, spring also means insects springing forth. There are many insects that go dormant during the winter season and who become active again during spring until the summer seasons.
Termite Inspection
If you’re in the market for a new home or are planning on selling your place, you will have to deal with termite inspection. Termites are one of the biggest factors that affect a home’s value. A house or building can look solid and flawless but the inside may be rotten and falling apart. Sellers are also often legally required to inform buyers of any defects the house or building might have.
Preparing Your Home for a Termite Inspection
To comply with current disclosure requirements your home will need to have an inspection
for wood destroying pests and organisms. In addition to looking for termites and other wood boring pests, the inspector is required to check all parts of your home for signs of plumbing leaks, dry-rot and a variety of other conditions which can contribute to wood deterioration.
