Another method is the use of termite baits, which is designed to kill the entire colony of the termites and not just the termites that come into contact with the chemical. Popular examples include Sentricon (takes 2-8 months to eradicate the colony) and Advance (takes around 4 months). Bait systems are becoming more popular because they are more environment-friendly.
